Past volunteer events included packing food for school children, cleaning school grounds, assisting at soup kitchens, and more, but Betsy wanted to be able to contribute to those in need in an even bigger way. Pepine Gives gives back with our home makeover, when we transform the home of a family in the community. Additionally, Pepine Gives contributes gifts and items to those in need, organizes volunteering for events, and more.
Pepine Gives, as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit foundation, is the philanthropic arm of Pepine Realty. The mission of Pepine Gives is to improve and empower the lives of the underserved in our community. A major focus of the foundation is on making housing more attainable and more livable for our residents. Initiatives include major repairs and renovations of houses to make them safer and to improve the quality of life of those housed in them. In addition, Pepine Gives purchases homes, rehabs them and offers them at below market rates to future home owners.
We seek to make a lasting impact on preserving and revitalizing housing in our community, with an emphasis on helping low-income and at-risk homeowners, from the elderly and disabled to families with children. We welcome the community to get involved. One way to assist is to volunteer with us. We are always looking for people to help us with our projects. Another way is to donate supplies or money to help us with our cause. 100% of your donation goes toward our projects.
