Pepine Community Leaders’ Homeownership Program
Prosperity Achieved Through Healthy Housing
About the Program
Pepine Gives’ Community Leaders’ Homeownership Program is a holistic strategy designed to create lasting prosperity through homeownership, leadership, and wraparound support.
This initiative empowers families to move from surviving to thriving through a connected, three-part system that develops leadership, financial stability, and long-term housing success.
THE PATH STRATEGY — YOUR NEW START
The Pepine New Start Program provides continuous, holistic support from the moment a family is selected through home completion and stabilization.
This 18-month program ensures that each family receives the resources and wraparound care necessary to thrive in their new home, not just move into it.
Support Includes:
- Furnishings, landscaping, and home setup
- Utility stipends and energy-efficient upgrades
- Down payment or rental deposit assistance
- Counseling, peer support, and health/wellness programs
- Job training, resume services, and trade school funding
- Educational scholarships and e-learning access
- Youth empowerment through a Student Leadership Institute
- Emergency financial assistance and community networking
Purpose:
To ensure every Pepine homeowner not only achieves housing but sustains success — building generational stability, leadership, and prosperity.
Phase 1: Family Leadership Program (FLP) — 9 Months
Developing Healthy Communities through Equity & Leadership Training
Participants begin their journey with the Family Leadership Program (FLP) — a 9-month leadership and personal growth curriculum modeled after the nationally recognized Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI). This phase builds strong, self-sufficient community leaders through:
- Leadership and civic engagement
- Financial literacy and entrepreneurship
- Personal and family development
Phase 2: Pepine Homeownership Program (PHP) — 9 Months
Affordable Housing Education & Preparation
Building upon the FLP foundation, the Pepine Homeownership Program (PHP) guides participants through the homeownership process while strengthening household stability and self-sufficiency. This phase includes:
- Workforce development and job readiness
- Health and wellness education
- Financial management and sustainable living training
- College and trade school scholarships
Through this comprehensive model, Pepine Gives redefines affordable housing — addressing the whole person and whole household through leadership, education, and lifelong support.
Together, these programs build stronger families, healthier communities, and a pathway to lasting prosperity.
